Fall 2020 Makeup Trends to Wear NOW!

This may be the most relatable makeup season yet! We are moving on from the

heavy contours of the past few seasons (sorry Kim K) and moving into a more

approachable, easy to achieve makeup style.

UNDERSTATED COMPLEXION

Low-key complexion will rule over heavily made up and sculpted, giving you time

for other morning activities. Instead of the classic contouring, we will see more of

a natural flush to the cheeks giving the skin a hint of windswept color. Use

makeup to fix any imperfections, otherwise it’s time to show off our natural

beauty!

PERFECTLY ‘UNDONE’ BROWS

Those perfectly tweezed brows are a trend of the past. Fall is all about the slightly

masculine structure of a more natural brow. To achieve this look, start by

brushing brow hairs up to maximize the full thickness and filling in with hair like

strokes where needed. This trend is all about the brows you were born with, only

better.

GRAPHIC EYES

A little less precision seems to be the key to most of the makeup looks for the Fall

and the eyes are no exception. Smudged out liner and geometric shapes are

getting bigger and bolder. Freestyle on the eye and you have this look down.

90’s GRUNGE POUT

It’s a 90’s revival in makeup as well as fashion. The bold berry/red lip is making a

comeback in a more fashionable way. Forget the darker, visible lip liner that was

so common in this decade. It’s not too dark and not too bright, but definitely has

a boldness that gives the pout just a little 90’s edge.

SOFT SMOKY

This is a real life smoky eye, not just the look for date night. We are turning down

the more vivid and dramatic eye for a more subdued smoky, using more neutral

tones. This eye is a bit imperfect, yet romantic. Choose more lustrous shades to

achieve this lived in smoky look.
